The Mission

The mission of Frontier Baptist Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations through salvation, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Vision

The vision of Frontier Baptist Church is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.

Our Ministries

Bus Ministry

Our Bus Ministry exists to remove barriers so anyone—children, teens, adults, and seniors—can be in church to hear God’s Word. Each Sunday our friendly, background-checked drivers run safe, well-maintained routes to pick up riders who need a lift, including families with limited transportation and folks new to the area. We provide a warm welcome, simple registration, and caring supervision from pickup to drop-off. If you or someone you know would like a ride to church, let us know your address and the number of riders, and we’ll work to add your home to a route. No cost, no pressure—just a joyful ride to worship, Bible preaching (KJV), and a church family that’s glad you’re here.

Nursing Home Ministry

Our Nursing Home Ministry serves residents, their families, and staff with compassionate, Christ-centered care. Teams visit regularly to lead hymn-singing, read the King James Bible, share short gospel messages, and provide prayer and encouragement. We also offer bedside visits for those who can’t attend group services and keep in touch with families when appropriate. Volunteers are trained to serve respectfully and joyfully, honoring each resident’s dignity while pointing hearts to the comfort and hope we have in the Lord.

Jail Ministry

Our Jail Ministry brings the hope of the gospel behind the walls to men and women who desire a fresh start in Christ. Under facility guidelines and with approved, background-checked volunteers, we provide Bible (KJV) distribution, one-on-one prayer, and weekly Scripture preaching/teaching focused on repentance, forgiveness, and freedom in Jesus. We coordinate closely with jail staff to maintain safety and respect for all participants, offer follow-up discipleship plans upon release (transport to church, baptism counseling, mentoring, and practical help), and connect returning citizens with a church family ready to walk with them.
